Funny how a song can change your hectic day!
Today i would like to share you bloggers out there about my personal songs/artists over the past few years.. special songs/artists that affected my personal life.
1. Guns 'n Roses
my very first album that i bought when i was in elementary school, i became a fan ever since.
2. New Kids On The Block
this actually my sister fav boyband in the late 80's, she poisoned me up everyday with NKOTB, somehow i enjoyed it. i went to see their gigs in jakarta, it was crazy !
3. Lisa Loeb
everytime i listen to her songs, especially "stay" and "do you sleep" i remembered my first love. back in junior high, where murte and nieke liked each other (haha)
4. The Smashing Pumpkins
i actually hated the band for the first time i saw it on MTV, but after my friend put on the "1979" record..BOOM..i fell in love ! Smashing pumpkins are the bomb in the 90's !!
5. The Cardigans
"carnival, lovefool, daddy's car" are some of their famous songs, my friend Andre introduced me to the band when we were in high school.
6. Sheila Majid
this malaysian singer, remind me of someone. someone really special back in 98, "Hadirmu" i used this song to expressed my feelings for her, it became our song. ~nieke murte (98-00)~
7. Kahitna
haha i know what you all think, from guns n roses to kahitna? what the hell?? anyway..there's a story behind the song called "Permaisuriku".
there was this girl named Inda, we dated around 02 (forgot) huhu, well she liked the song so very
much ! and she kept playing it inside her car over and over again. once again i started to dig the song, actually..this is the song when we first PDKT..ahaha !
8. Diana Krall
aaaw.."let's fall in love" was the song when i became very close with Kanya, too bad things don't go smooth as i imagined. we agreed for not seeing each other again..(karena guwe kelamaan) :P, she now married and have 1 cute lil baby !
9. Her Space Holiday
Thanks to my dearest Friend Sari who gave me the song called "Japanese Gum" and "Tech Romance", she said "Krish..u have to listen to this song..it is so you !!!" my first impression...waw ! it is so me ! i mean this is the song where Murte and Fenina fell in lust uups love ! hehe :P, the song is ridicilous special for us ! curious?? go find the lyrics and read it ..
i can still go on with the other lists, but it's 10.30pm i think i'm gonna end up my scribbles for tonight ! i gotta get some rest..tomorrow's going to be another busy day at the office.
